The mayor of Grafton says live music in the city will go on, and problems are being addressed on a case-by-case basis.  There had been some speculation late last year that amplified music played outdoors would be severely restricted or done away with altogether, but Tom Thompson reiterates that is not the case.

He tells The Big Z there was one business that racked up several complaints last summer.

Thompson declined to name the business.  He likens this situation to teaching school, saying if one student acts up you don’t punish the whole class.
