The Chinese have entered into an agreement to buy between 30 and 40 million pounds of the fish over the course of a three year contract.  American Heartland Fish Products LLC will provide the fish, and as soon as a couple of approvals at the state level come in, construction on their new plant can get started.   The commercial fishing enterprise is expected to cut down on the number of carp, but Thompson says there are enogh of them that they will likely never be depleted.
