The Grafton Ferry will launch its 2016 season in about a month. The first day of operation will be April 29, according to Grafton's mayor. The spring and summer will see the ferry used to shuttle motorists - especially tourists - back and forth between Illinois and Missouri several times each weekend.
Grafton Mayor Tom Thompson tells The Big Z some of those visitors will want to spend the night in one of the 100 or so rooms available in town.
