Got Faith's annual Angel Tree campaign is underway and organizers are hoping to gather more donations during a series of events in the coming days and weeks. Organizers will place the "Santa Shed" on the sidewalk outside of Jerseyville Wal-Mart from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th, in hopes of gathering more donations for the Angel Tree campaign and area food shelters.

Got Faith Coordinator Steve Pegram says they want to "turn the tables" on Santa.

Pegram Comments

Pegram says building the "Santa Shed" was a community effort with help coming from high schoolers who built it and local businesses who donated the materials they needed. The shed will also be outside Jerseyville Wal-Mart from 2-4 p.m. on December 7th and from 4-6 p.m. on December 13th, however Pegram reminds that you can donate anytime throughout the month of December. For more information and to learn how to make a donation, you can call 1-415-4-Hunger.
