The City of Alton has spent much of the winter continuing upgrades to a number of parks, including Gordon Moore.  A lot of the work at Gordon Moore has centered on Hopkins Field, where varsity high school, Legion, and collegiate ball is played during the summer.  That work will continue as baseball season draws near.

Many of the other fields are being upgraded too.  He says working on drainage issues and replacing fencing on the various fields are two of the more common jobs.
