Two members of the Illinois House are warning their constituents of a possible pension shift move by Democrats this fall.  Republicans Dwight Kay of Glen Carbon and  Ed Sullivan of Mundelien were joined by other local elected officials in Edwardsville yesterday to speak on the topic, although it's being dismissed as election year scare tactics by some in the Democratic Party.

Kay says he fears House Speaker Mike Madigan will attempt to use the fall veto session of pass a pension-shift plan that would hurt property owners outside Chicago:

Kay comment

Sullivan claims Democrats are looking beyond the election to a large tax increase next year to cover the pensions and other debt the state has racked up over the years.
