Godfrey may be considering a change in policy as it deals with complaints about motorcycle noise. Noise has apparently been an issue for some residents recently. It was just two weeks ago the village passed an ordinance to control the times that amplified music could be played outside at its bars.
But Mayor Mike McCormick says this time, bikers are the focus.
He says it may not be the noise of the individual bikes, but maybe the number of motorcycles traveling through town. Most complaints, he says, come from the Great River Road and Humbert Road areas.
