The Godfrey Fire Protection District will be opening the doors of Fire Station #2 on West Delmar Avenue to the public on Saturday.  The purpose is to invite the citizens of Godfrey to an open house that the department hopes will be both fun and educational.  Saturday wraps up National Fire Prevention Week.

Public Education Officer Lieutenant Tom Wills says there will be food, a display of their equipment, demonstrations, and activities for the kids.  Lewis & Clark Community College will be among those on hand.

There will also be a fly-in by the ARCH Helicopter.  The open house runs from 9am-3pm Saturday.
