“Godfrey – You can see your future from here.”  That is the new brand and tagline for Godfrey’s new branding effort.  It is the latest step in a process that began with community leaders meeting five years ago, thinking it was time to move Godfrey to the next level of growth.

The branding effort was rolled out in front of about 200 people Tuesday night at Lewis & Clark Community College.  The guest speaker was Mitch Meyers, the creator of Bud Light marketing icon Spuds MacKenzie.  She says this brand is not trying to portray Godfrey as something it’s not.

The next step for the village is to hire an Economic Development and Market Brand Director.  The interview process is expected to begin next week.
