Arbor Day is coming to Godfrey. The annual celebration at Glazebrook Park is set for this Saturday with a free tree giveaway, food and drink, games and entertainment. A fishing derby will kick off the event at 8:30am, followed by the main event from nine to one.

Godfrey Park and Recreation Department Administrative Assistant Angela Bosoluke says this is the 14th year Godfrey has recognized Arbor Day.
