The Godfrey Village Board has approved a budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 that shows no major change, according to the mayor.  Godfrey Mayor Mike McCormick says the budget includes money for more street projects than have ever been done in one year while staying within the budget.

McCormick tells The Big Z they are spending a little more this year due to the road projects.

McCormick says they are going to complete mill and overlay work in Rock Gate Subdivision, and a micro-paving in River Aire and Riverwoods subdivisions.  Those bids will be opened next Tuesday and will be up for approval at the July meeting.
