It's a significant order for General Motors' Wentzville plant. AT&T has ordered 12-hundred compressed natural gas Chevrolet Express cargo vans that will be manufactured at the facility. They're expected to be delivered over the next three months. GM is spending 380-million dollars to expand the Wentzville plant and will add a second shift later this year.
The company also produces the Chevy Express and the GMC Savana at the Wentzville plant and will begin producing the new Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck next year. AT&T plans to add 8,000 CNG vehicles to its fleet through next year.
