If you didn't get to buy any girl scout cookies yesterday, you still have a chance. The 2016 Girl Scout Cookie program kicked off yesterday and continues today at various locations around southern Illinois. Traditional Cookie orders take place from January 9 through the 30th, with the cookies set to be delivered in late February. Customer demand for the cookies has been high historically so an additional selling stint has been scheduled.

There will be Cookie Booth Weekends taking place from February 26th through March 13th in addition to the regular cookie selling season dates. Cookie sales this year will also be available online through a program called Digital Cookie, where girl scouts will personally market their own personalized cookie websites. Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois serves 13,000 girls and 4,500 adult volunteers in more than 40 counties in southern Illinois To get connected with Girl Scouts in your area call 800-345-6858 or use the Little Brownie Baker's Cookie Locator by visiting http://cookielocator.littlebrownie.com/ .
