Cpl. Chris BelchikAugust 22 will mark 11 years since Alton Marine Cpl. Chris Belchik was killed by a mortar round in Iraq’s Anbar province.  Belchik’s older brother Brian is organizing a fundraiser that will be held on that date to help raise funds for an organization dedicated to helping America’s veterans once they return home.

Brian Belchik says the inaugural Belchik Memorial WOD (Workout of the Day), hosted by Iron House CrossFit in Godfrey, will benefit the U.S. Veterans’ Foundation.
