Alton School District officials expect a full day of classes at Alton High School today (Wednesday).  A problem with one of the air conditioning units meant classes were dismissed early the first two days this week, according to Assistant Superintendent Kristie Baumgartner.

She tells The Big Z the portable chiller should be in place in time for Wednesday classes, and the building should be at a comfortable temperature for students and staff.  Baumgartner says they have been running a flipped academic schedule to ensure students receive the course-work they need.
