The first ever Food Truck Festival at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater last weekend was deemed a huge success, so much so there’s been a call to hold it more often.  A member of the Amphitheater Commission says another food truck festival is likely and it proves people want new experiences in downtown Alton.

Robert Stephan tells The Big Z while the crowds did surprise them, and every truck sold out of food, it was great to see so many people in downtown Alton:

Stephan says it will be up to the commission on what types of events to plan for 2016, but he expects the food trucks will return at least once.  He also says to expect more national musical acts, and smaller events during the year that will draw more people to the Alton riverfront.
