The third major event coming to the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater this year will combine food and music.  The inaugural Food Truck Festival has been booked for Saturday, August 29.  The city is partnering with Sauce Magazine to present the event.  This event is free to the public, but each truck will set its own prices.

Alton Mayor Brant Walker tells The Big Z this event was held in Missouri last year:

VIP experience tickets are also available that includes parking close to the venue and complimentary drink tickets.  Headlining the music portion of the event is blues musician and St. Louis native Marquise Knox, who has performed with B.B. King, Louisiana Red and Honeyboy Edwards to name a few.
