It's tough to have a fair when the grounds are muddy and wet, so organizers are moving the Two Rivers Fishing Fair to the Jersey County Fairgrounds this weekend.  The fair is normally held at Pere Marquette State Park flood waters have overtaken the area.  The fair is free and will still be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Urban Fishing Coordinator Scott Isringhausen says other than location, everything will be just the same.

Isringhausen comments

It's part of the free fishing days in Illinois, which means participants won't need a license to fish this weekend.  The fair is free for everyone who attends and every child who registers and takes part in at least seven stations, is guaranteed to walk away with a prize.  Larry and Jan Reid, hosts of Z-1570's Outdoors Show, will be in attendance at the fish tank.
