Flags across Illinois have been ordered to half-staff for the rest of this week to honor the five U.S. Service Members killed in the Chattanooga, Tennessee tragedy.  Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner's office announced that the Department of Central Management Services received the notice from the White House.

Any group covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act is being asked to lower their flags until sunset Friday.  This includes buildings with the United States and Illinois flags.
