Cotton says that there can be a loss of a trillion gallons of water across the nation every year if small leaks are not fixed. She adds that you can learn how to detect leaks in your home and find instructions to repair those leaks by visiting the Illinois American Water Online Learning Center at http://www.amwater.com/ilaw/Learning-Center/
