First Night Riverbend- the alcohol and drug-free New Year's Eve celebration held each year at Lewis and Clark Community College- is making a final week button sales push. The buttons are your ticket into the event, and they are on sale at the usual locations- Dick's Flowers in Alton & Wood River, Party Magic, all Liberty Bank locations, and the Jersey Community Wellness Center.

There will be musical acts, magicians, face painting, and plenty of other activities and attractions for kids of all ages. "First Night" co-organizer Linda Nevlin says it pays to get your buttons in advance.
