Alicia Tate-Nadeau has done something no other woman has done: become a general in the Illinois National Guard.  Tate-Nadeau, whose full-time job is with FEMA, maintains perspective.  “It's all about standards,” the general says. “The fact that I’m the first woman is fantastic, but what I really think they’re saying is that if you have one standard in an organization and you meet that, anyone can achieve whatever goal it is that you put out to do.”
