Godfrey residents will go to the polls in April with little in the way of contested races to decide.  Petitions were due in Wednesday, and there will be competition for one trustee spot and the position of Township Supervisor.  Everyone else is running unopposed.

Mayor Mike McCormick is running for what he says will be his final term.

Clerk Pam Whistler is running unopposed, as is Township Assessor Monica Star Jerrells.  Township Supervisor Doug Mueller will face a challenge from Kevin Botterbush.  Four candidates filed for three positions on the Board of Trustees.  Newcomer Linda Wheaton will be on the ticket, alongside incumbents Mike Stumpf, Sarah Johnes and Mark Stewart.
