The search is on for any witnesses to last Friday's fatal fall into the Mississippi River by a Missouri woman.  It is believed a man on a black and red motorcycle may have seen what happened.  He or any other witness to the tragedy is being asked to call the Calhoun Ferry Company, which owns the Golden Eagle Ferry, at 618-396-2281.

The body of 60-year-old Lynn T. Watson of Florissant was recovered near the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge in Granite City Monday morning around 8:15.  The Golden Eagle Ferry, which ferries cars and passengers between St. Charles, MO and Calhoun County, features security gates and other safeguards designed to keep someone from accidentally falling into the water.   Watson was reportedly traveling  from Missouri to Illinois at the time of the incident.
