Federal prosecutors have responded to former Governor Rod Blagojevich's latest attempt to have his corruption conviction overturned.  In a court filing last week, prosecutors said the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling cited by Blagojevich is irrelevant to his conviction and was misinterpreted by his lawyers.  Blagojevich attorneys had argued that the court said that for a campaign solicitation to be criminal, an explicit quid pro quo has to offered, which they say, Blagojevich never did.
