Money will play a major role in this year’s race for governor. Political Analyst Kent Redfield says it’ll be like nothing voters have ever seen before. In 2006, Rod Balgojevich spent $22-million, but thinks that number will be at least doubled in the fall.
He says there will be lots of outside money flowing into the race.

Redfield says it’ll be a long campaign. Both Bruce Rauner and Governor Quinn have vowed to hit the ground running without taking a break from campaigning. In fact, Quinn launched an attack ad against Rauner on the minimum wage issue before he was even declared the GOP winner.
