Illinois lawmakers want to make sure you're not punished for what you do or say on Facebook.  They've passed a bill banning employers from asking for the passwords to your personal social media sites.  The bill came about after lawmakers got wind of potential workers getting turned away from jobs after employers asked for passwords to their social media sites.

Even though employers will not be allowed to ask for passwords, they will still be able to regulate whether workers can go on the social media sites while on the clock.
