A pilot program allowing attorneys to file law cases electronically in Madison County has been approved by the Supreme Court after a four-year trial period.  That means the program will now be put in place permanently, allowing for more efficiency in the office of Madison County Circuit Clerk Mark Von Nida, who is looking forward to continuing the program and what will soon be possible.

Von Nida comments

He says he is working on expanding the program to where pro-se litigants can take advantage of the technology.  That means a person representing themselves would have the same access to the filing capabilities of the over 4,400 attorneys and 5,200 attorney staff that are registered for the program in Madison County.
