Teams of lawyers and inspectors from the Illinois Attorney General’s office will help supervise the election today. Spokesman Scott Mulford says the crews will “ensure that Illinoisans experience a hassle-free election process; to keep an eye out for possible election law violations; things of that sort.”

Problems can include election workers not knowing all of the rules, and candidates electioneering within 100 feet of a polling place.
