The annual Edwardsville Rotary Criterium returns to the streets of Downtown Edwardsville today for the fifth time.  The start / finish line is on Main Street, and will circle a short course that runs 0.7 miles and features what organizers call seven difficult turns.  Sanctioned by USA Cycling, the day includes a number of races throughout the afternoon and most of the evening.

Race Director S.J. Morrison tells The Big Z there are even races for the youngest members of the crowd.

There will also be a pedal and paint art tent, and free helmet fitting.  Racing begins at 3:00 and should go until about 10:30.  Live music will also be held on Main Street throughout the event.  For more information, log on to this story at and follow the link.
