The Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill is coming up and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency is urging Illinoisans to sign up.  IEMA Spokesman Patti Thompson says earthquakes are a risk here, so it's important to know what to do when one hits.

The drill will be held October 15th at 10:15am, and will teach people to drop to the ground, take cover and hold on.
