With just a couple of days of early voting left in Illinois, most area counties are seeing greater than normal participation.  Macoupin and Jersey counties are reporting heavy participation, and the Madison County Clerk's office reports more than 8,000 ballots have been cast early, countywide.

That puts early voting on a presidential election pace, according to Madison County Clerk Debbie Mendoza.
