Early voting begins next week in Illinois. If you want to avoid the hassle of voting on Election Day March 20, Madison County Clerk Mark Von Nida says you may want to think about voting early. He says you can cast a ballot beginning a week from today at his office in Edwardsville.

Early voting is available through March 15. There are several locations around Madison County to vote early, but in neighboring Jersey County, early voting is done at the County Clerk's office, and at the courthouse in Macoupin County.
