Charges have been filed against a Wood River woman after police informants told authorities where they were buying drugs. 33-year-old Natasha N. Theis of the 200 block of East Jennings is charged with unlawful possession of Meth after the informants made two drug purchases last month.
Wood River Police first learned of the alleged drug sales after arresting an 18-year-old man and 18-year-old woman on separate occasions last month that both told them where they were purchasing the drugs. The two agreed to work with police and made additional drug buys, leading to the arrest and search warrants being issued. Police reportedly found Meth and Meth making paraphernalia inside the home, as well as a wooden cross where the drugs were allegedly concealed. Bond for Theis is set at $10,000.
