The water crisis isn't over along the Mississippi River.  Levels are so low that it may soon be unsafe for ships to navigate.  The Coast Guard says the drought put a major strain on the river this year.  Water levels could be close to a record low by December 15th if things continue on the same pace.

The federal government has acknowledged the problem and it's working to have water released from the Missouri River into the Mississippi to help.
