October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Alton Police Chief Jake Simmons wants more people to be aware of that.  This Thursday, September 18, will be the first Domestic Violence Awareness Walk hosted by the Alton Police Department.  It starts and ends at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.

Alton Police Public Information Officer Emily Hejna says registration starts at 6pm.
