Waggin’ Train and Canyon Creek Ranch dog treats are being pulled from store shelves. Nestle Purina PetCare Company voluntarily recalled the popular chicken jerky treats after learning they may contain traces of an antibiotic residue.  Company officials say the substance does not pose any health or safety risks to the pets.  

But, the antibiotic residue at question is not approved in the U.S.
