The next installment in a series of summer camps at the National Great Rivers Museum in Alton kicks off a week from today (Tuesday). The "Dirty Jobs" camp runs July 30 through August 1, and is a part of the Lewis & Clark Community College's "College for Kids" series.
Natural Resource Specialist Janet Mifflin says the kids will work alongside park rangers and lock operators.
Camp will meet at the museum, the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary, and the Dresser Island Access area on consecutive days. She says it will be a unique experience for the kids. Registration is $50, and is for kids age 10 or older. For more information, call 468-7000.
