Gills Onions LLC says the chopped onions have expired use-by dates of May 14th, 15th and 17th, 2012.

Gills Onions bills itself as one of the nation's largest family-owned onion growers and processors. In addition to Illinois, the diced onions were sold in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Texas, Michigan, Arkansas, Ohio, Tennessee, New Jersey, Georgia and Florida.  The product has a lot code of 51RDA1A2119.
