Illinois Democrats have raised almost twice the amount of campaign money as Republicans. Crain's Chicago Business reports that both parties have combined to raise almost twice as much money as four years ago. Bruce Rauner has about eight-point-five million-dollars on hand while Governor Pat Quinn has about ten-million.
Outside of the governor's race, Democrats have two-dollars and 72-cents on hand for every one-dollar Republicans have.
