Spring is just around the corner and that means it's time to "spring forward" as Daylight Savings time begins today. Daylight Savings time officially began at 2 a.m. local time, so if you haven't already, be sure to move your clock ahead one hour.

In addition to setting the clocks ahead, it is also a good time to put new batteries in warning devices such as smoke detectors and hazard warning radios. Daylight saving time ends November 3rd.
