The creator of the Miles Davis Memorial Statue will be in the Riverbend this week.  Preston Jackson will speak about his work, past and present, at a free event on Wednesday at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey.  The statue itself should be dedicated in downtown Alton later this year.
