Congressman Rodney Davis (R-Taylorville) recently had an opportunity to question a high-ranking official with the United States Army Corps of Engineers about a number of issues critical to the region. Among the topics was the recent recommendation to locate the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in North St. Louis based on what many leaders say is flawed data compiled by the USACE.
There was a big bi-partisan push by Illinois concerns to lure the site to the Scott Air Force Base area. Davis told Army Corps Major General Donald Jackson Jr. the Corps' final Impact Statement was riddled with errors.

Davis continues to follow fellow U.S. Representative Mike Bost's lead to reverse the NGA's recommendation. A final decision is scheduled for June 2, but Bost has asked for a delay due to the inaccuracies in the report.
