The Citizen's Utility Board is partnering with Madison County Community Development to put on free workshops for county residents to help with saving money on their utility bills. The two organization are committed to working for the rights of utility customers and keeping those customers in the area. The workshops are free and open to all residents of Madison County.
Spokesman for the CUB Jim Chilsen tells The Big Z this is an important subject to the citizens of the area.
He says it has become a lot more complicated to be an electricity customer than ever with all kinds of ways for people to save money that most are unaware of. Madison County Board Chairman Alan Dunstan will be hosting the workshops. The first workshop will be held at 11am tomorrow at the Troy Community Building, located at 410 Wickliffe in Troy, IL. The second workshop will be held at 11am on Thursday March 31st at Senior Services Plus, located at 2603 Rodgers Ave in Alton. The date and location of the third workshop is still to be announced.
