Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and her counterparts in several other states are asking oil companies to help stop the sale of synthetic drugs in their gas stations.  Synthetic drugs, also known as bath salts, are illegal in Illinois, but investigators are still finding gas stations and convenience stores selling them, says Madigan spokesman Natalie Bauer.

Madigan and Attorneys General in 41 other states sent a letter to companies like Exxon, Shell, and Citgo urging them to work  with their franchises so that they understand the law and report the sale of any synthetic drugs.
