If you live in Madison County and suffered any kind of flood damage - even a backed up sewer - you are being asked to take a survey.  The Madison County Emergency Management Agency has established a hotline for residents to report damage, and would like to hear from everyone that was impacted.

Wood River Fire Chief Steve Alexander says the data compiled may help the area qualify for federal assistance.

To take the survey, call 211 or 1-800-427-4626.  The city's Public Services Director says the city has begun pumping the standing water on Route 143 near 255 into the 14th Street Pond.  Steve Palen says they can do that now that the pond is at a level that it can take more water.  There is still no estimate as to when that portion of the road may reopen.  He notes that the decision will be made by IDOT, as it is a state highway.
