The Citizens Utility Board is an advocate for Illinois utility customers, which means most every resident could benefit from its help. Established by the Illinois General Assembly in 1983, the nonpartisan organization has a mission of representing residential utility customers.

C-U-B most recently urged the Illinois Commerce Commission to look into the Illinois Electric Market due to the recent spike in energy costs.
