The New Hampshire primary is in the books and it's onto South Carolina for Republican presidential candidates. Republican Mitt Romney won an impressive victory, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman finished second and third in New Hampshire. An Illinois Congressman thinks while it's too early to give the race to Romney, he does have momentum at this point.
Republican Tim Johnson of Urbana will be representing portions of the Riverbend formerly represented by John Shimkus following the redrawing of district maps. He says he is very interested to see what happens in South Carolina on January 21st.
Johnson says he has not endorsed any candidate at this point, but will back whoever wins the nomination. He says while he considers himself a friend of Ron Paul, he must back the candidate with the best chance of unseating the president in November.
