Congressman Aaron Schock (pictured) may have his eye on Governor Quinn's job.  He says he's considering a run for governor and he hopes other GOP hopefuls will step aside and clear the way for him.  Republican contenders Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard have made unsuccessful bids for governor in the past and Schock says it's time for someone new.

He says "the same horses that trot out on the track have proven nothing more than they can lose an election."  Schock says if he decides to make the run, he'll make an official announcement sometime in the next six months.
