A local congressman is weighing in on the Syrian refugee situation.  U.S. Representative Rodney Davis (R-13) says he empathizes with their plight, but feels it is a situation that didn’t have to happen.  Davis points to what he calls “failed leadership” as the reason so many Syrians are fleeing their homeland as ISIS makes more inroads into that region.

Davis tells The Big Z the majority of refugees never wanted to leave their homeland in the first place.
